The World Travel Awards revealed this morning the winning and outstanding hotels in the Middle East region for 2024. The winners were selected based on reviews from travel agencies, industry professionals, and tourists from over 160 countries. The organization, which annually hosts the “Oscars of the travel world,” was established 31 years ago, evaluating various hotels across different categories, from the best business hotel to the best boutique hotel.

Prominent winners included Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, awarded “Leading Beach Destination in the Middle East,” while Abu Dhabi overall was chosen as the “Leading Business Travel Destination in the Middle East.” Dubai claimed the title of “Leading Destination in the Middle East,” and Doha as the “Leading City in the Middle East.” Despite major winners coming from Qatar and the Emirates, Israeli hotels also made their mark.
